(T-T)b – Slimy Quagmire

14 Apr (T-T)b – Slimy Quagmire

We are extremely pleased to announce that pre-orders for (T-T)b’s Slimy Quagmire are now live at our webstore! You can place your order here. A portion of all proceeds will go to the Native Women’s Association of Canada. Fans in the USA can order this from Topshelf Records, just over here. A portion of their pre-order sales will be divided equally and go directly to The Trevor Project, The NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Planned Parenthood.

For those not familiar with the Bostonian chiprock group, Topshelf writes:

Boston-based (T-T)b describe themselves as “deep-fried bitpunk for short attention spans.” The trio writes music about feelings, TV shows and extraterrestrial life. The band has a range of influences, perhaps most obviously in Math the Band and Anamanaguchi (from whom the band got their name), but Slimy Quagmire builds upon that, drawing influence from mid-’90s power pop bands like Weezer, That Dog and The Rentals and LVL UP and Charly Bliss on a more contemporary level. The end result is hits with a refreshingly jarring familiarity.

Slimy Quagmire can be purchased digitally over at the band’s bandcamp, or directly from Topshelf Records.
